EAT.DRINK.
Keeping it local includes supporting restaurants that are locally owned and operated. Taste the difference … in ingredients sourced from the region, wine made in South Bend, craft beer brewed right here, and timeless craft cocktails. Don’t forget, it’s not just food alone—enjoy live music, First Friday events and so much more.
RESTAURANT
WEEKS
Restaurant Weeks are held twice a year, typically in January or February and again in late July. South Bend is home to many local restaurants and their owners proudly participate in this event, offering the opportunity to enjoy some of their most notable hand-crafted dishes on the specially priced menus. These weeks are the perfect time to sample the variety of cuisines and experiences available in downtown South Bend. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to Beacon Children’s Hospital in downtown South Bend.
You’ll find delicious options for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and drinks from casual sandwiches and salads to fine dining. Most restaurants fill up quickly on the weekends and may be less busy on Monday or Tuesday. We encourage making a reservation as much in advance as possible at those restaurants that accept them so you can ensure you get to go when and where you’d like.
Participating restaurants will develop menus for Restaurant Weeks that emphasize their unique qualities and signature style. We’ve collected the menus here so you can easily browse through the many wonderful choices. Remember, although a restaurant may offer a discount, your server is working just as hard as always to ensure you have a great dining experience. Please be sure to tip your servers based on the regular price of a similar meal, not on the discounted price.
